Procrastination and Good routine as relating to a student.

There are lots of responsibilities you have to face as students. You have to attend classes, take notes, study for exams, complete assignments, participate in extracurricular activities and so on. It can be easy to feel overwhelmed by all of the responsibilities, and it can be tempting to procrastinate (which is the act of delaying or postponing a task or set of tasks to be done). It can lead to stress, anxiety, and at the end, poor grades. Because of this, you cannot afford to allow time wasters and a bad daily routine to make use of your time.
There are many different things that can lead students to procrastination and time wasting. Some of them include

  1. Excessive Social media Engagement
  2. Spending much time on Watching TV or movies
  3. Playing video games
  4. Surfing the internet
  5. Chatting with friends
  6. Oversleeping

Procrastination can have a number of negative consequences for students. It can lead to stress, anxiety, poor grades, missed deadlines, feeling overwhelmed, lack of motivation. Procrastination can also make it difficult to learn new material and retain information. It can also lead to poor performance on exams and assignments.
If you find yourself procrastinating, there are a few things you can do to overcome this habit. Here are a few tips:

1. Set goals and deadlines: When you have a clear goal in mind, it’s easier to stay on track. Set deadlines for yourself and stick to them.
2. Break down large tasks into smaller ones and eliminate distractions.
3. Reward yourself: When you complete a task, reward yourself with something you enjoy. This will help you stay motivated and on track.

It’s also important to establish a good routine. This means going to bed and waking up at the same time each day, eating regular meals, studying, exercising regularly and so on. When you have a good routine, you’ll have more structured energy and focus, making it easier to stay on top of your studies.
Also, with the desire to attain high productivity and academics good results in the future, here are a few more things you can do to develop good time management (which is a function of attaining productivity and good academics results) and good study habits:

1. Find a study buddy: Studying with a friend can help you stay on track and motivated.
2. Join a study group: Study groups can be a great way to get help with difficult material and learn new study techniques.
3. Visit your professor during office hours: If you’re struggling with a particular concept, don’t be afraid to ask your professor for help.
4. Get organized: Use a planner or calendar to keep track of your assignments and deadlines.
5. Take breaks: Don’t try to study for hours on end without taking a break. 6. Get up and move around every 20–30 minutes to avoid getting burned out.
7. Reward yourself: When you reach a goal, reward yourself with something you enjoy. This will help you stay motivated.
By following these tips, you can develop good time management and study habits that will help you succeed in school.
